OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL
Stand up comedy was always something I admired. The way comedians were able to control an audience fascinated me. One moment everyone would be in stitches then, BOOM! Groans across the board. All due to a turn of phrase.
Using the English language to get a gut reaction from someone became a hobby for me. I took the lessons learned from these comedians and applied them to my writing.
Instead of theaters in New York and L.A., essays and class presentations were my stage. Trying to win over classmates and teachers with my words was always a challenge I loved to take on. Hearing their physical reactions in response to something I wrote was what fueled me. I knew that this was what I wanted to do with my life.
That's how I got into Copywriting.
Advertising at its core is using words and pictures to evoke emotion from people. Whether it's creating the perfect heart-wrenching billboard or writing a hilarious script for a radio ad, I tackle each job with the same fervor and eagerness that my comedy idols do with each of their shows.
